It all started with the girl next door!

We grew up next door to each other, but it wasn’t until just before Jensen turned 16 that we began to notice each other in a new light. What started as simple neighborly friendship quickly turned into something special…even though we tried to keep it a secret at first! From there, late-night Dairy Queen runs became the foundation of our story…11 years later and you can still find us having a late night blizzard quite frequently.

So many phases of our lives have been spent together. Love stricken 16 year old Jensen attended endless amounts of Austin’s football and baseball games. We went to multiple proms, college formals, and spent many weekends at Austin’s grandparents house in Saint Simon’s.

Fast forward to this crazy phase of life called “adulting.” We have made the sweetest memories in our first home together. From impulsively coming home with a puppy, Austin starting medical school, Jensen putting her design touch on every surface, and now planning a wedding!

The day Austin proposed was so special. We were surrounded by our family on the island we fell in love on 11 years ago. On our usual early morning beach walk with Charlie Austin got down on one knee. Although Jensens first response was “RIGHT NOW??” she quickly pulled it together and of course said yes!

We couldn’t be more excited to jump into yet another phase of life together and can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you.
